GROVE CITY, Pa. - Select members of the Westminster College women's and men's track & field teams competed at the Grove City Mini Invitational on Friday.

The Titan women's team had four first-place finishers, while the men's team had one.

Titan freshman Brooke Mancuso (Wexford, PA / North Allegheny) tied a school-record in the pole vault with a personal-best mark of 3.97 meters and moved to third in the nation. Teammate sophomore Marissa Kalsey (Waynesburg, PA / Waynesburg), who placed second at 3.72 meters, is tied for fourth in the nation with Titan freshman Cassidy Shepherd (Greensburg, PA / Salem) (3.85m).

Senior Moriah Agnew (Bridgeport, OH / Bridgeport) notched two first-place finishes. Agnew won the shot put (10.86m) and won the discus with a personal-best toss of 38.60 meters. Senior Haley Gabor (New Kensington, PA / Ford City) won the 200 with a time of 25.90. Gabor stands 32nd in the nation (25.25).

Titan sophomore Alicia Nuzzo (New Castle, PA / Neshannock) and classmate Adriana DePorzio (New Castle, PA / Shenango Area) placed second in their respective events. Nuzzo finished second in the 400 (1:00.19) and DePorzio placed second in the 100 hurdles (16.62).

Sophomore Angela Colella (West Middlesex, PA / West Middlesex) placed third in the long jump (4.66m) and in the triple jump (9.43m). Classmate Marissa Toensing (Newton Falls, OH / Newton Falls) finished third in the 400 hurdles (1:08.35).

For the Titan men, sophomore Paul Carswell (Painesville, OH / Notre Dame Cathedral Latin) placed first in the long jump with a leap of 6.09 meters. Carswell also finished third in the triple (12.76m), while Titan senior Anthony Thomas (New Castle, PA / Union) was second (13.93m).

Senior Jason Frawley (Franklin, PA / Franklin) made his presence felt in the field as he placed second in the shot put (13.59m) and fourth in the discus (38.05m). Freshman Dom Politi (Pittsburgh, PA / Chartiers Valley) added a second-place finish in the javelin (54.58m), while sophomore Jake Dindak (Pittsburgh, PA / Baldwin) was third in the 400 (50.15).

Select Titans will compete at the Allegheny Gator Last Chance meet on Friday, May 9.
