BETHANY, W. Va. - The Westminster cross country team placed fifth at the Bethany Invitational on Saturday. The Titans scored 175 points out of 14 schools.

Senior Jenny Jones (Erie, PA / Fort LeBoeuf) led Westminster by finishing 12th out of 149 runners with a time of 24:48.

Waynesburg won the event with a team score of 42 points. Junior Emily Rabenold of Grove City was the medalist with a time of 23:11.

First-year Katelynn Morrell (Boardman, OH / Boardman) also finished in the top-20 for Westminster by finishing 17th with a time of 25:23.

First-year Paige Baierl (Bellevue, PA / Northgate) (26:12), sophomore Keilah Ireland (Nashua, NH / Nashua North) (27:57), sophomore Jenny Rodgers (State College, PA / State College) (28:06), junior Sara Monts (Duncansville, PA / Hollidaysburg Area) (28:13), and junior Hannah Kappel (Ligonier, PA / Ligonier Valley) (28:25) rounded out the Titan finishers.

Westminster will next compete at the Dickinson College Long/Short Meet in Newville, Pa. next Saturday.
