CARLISLE, Pa. - The Westminster College women's cross country team competed in the Dickinson College Invitational on Saturday. The Titans placed 22nd (241 points) out 40 teams in the 4K event and 22nd (286 points) out of 35 teams in the 6K.

In the 4K, Titan sophomore Katie Jones (Cabot, PA) finished 74th out of 301 runners with a time of 16:15.34. First-year Paige Baierl (Bellevue, PA / Northgate) placed next for Westminster in 84th (16:23.44). Sophomore Keilah Ireland (Nashua, NH / Nashua North) (17:29.93) and first-year Kaitlyn Morrell (Boardman, OH / Boardman) (18:30.17) also competed in the 4K for Westminster.

In the 6K, Westminster senior Jenny Jones (Erie, PA / Fort LeBoeuf) finished 66th out of 265 runners with a time of 25:00.48. Also competing in the 6K for the Titans were sophomore Jenny Rodgers (State College, PA / State College) (27:42.46) and sophomore Hannah Kappel (Ligonier, PA / Ligonier Valley) (28:21.95).

The Titans will next compete Saturday, Oct. 11, when they travel to Carnegie Mellon.
