Women s Cross Country: Titans Compete at Carnegie Mellon InvitationalPublished by
PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Westminster College women's cross country team placed 11th out of 17 schools with 296 points at the Carnegie Mellon University Invitational on Saturday. The competition included schools from Division I, II, and III programs. Senior Jenny Jones (Erie, PA / Fort LeBoeuf) paced the Titans with a 54th-place finish in a time of 20:28.0. First-year Katelynn Morrell (Boardman, OH / Boardman) finished next for Westminster in 68th at 20:55.0. Rounding out the top-5 Titan finishers were first-year Paige Baierl (Bellevue, PA / Northgate) (21:15.2), first-year Kristen Polk (Allison Park, PA) (23:12.4), and sophomore Jenny Rodgers (State College, PA / State College) (23:23.1). The Titans are back in action next Saturday, Oct. 18, when they travel to Oberlin. About Westminster College...
